Meet Gene Stokes
I’m Gene Stokes, founder of ACA Financial Strategies. I’m a finance professional with over three decades of experience in financial management, analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning, working across a wide range of business environments including retail, service-based companies, professional organizations, and complex operational teams.
Throughout my career, I’ve been trusted to manage multi-million-dollar budgets, build financial models, improve profitability, and support leadership teams in making better decisions with their numbers. I’ve worked closely with executives, operators, and founders not just producing reports, but translating financial data into clear, actionable strategy.
What sets my experience apart is that it isn’t limited to one type of business. I’ve seen how different industries operate, how cash flows behave under pressure, and how financial decisions ripple through real operations.
After years of working inside established organizations, I saw a consistent gap small businesses and startups often lack access to experienced financial guidance, not because they don’t need it, but because full time CFOs are expensive and overkill at earlier stages.
At the same time, I launched and operated my own service-based business, AutoCare Anywhere, where I handled everything from pricing and cash flow to budgeting, marketing decisions, and day-to-day operations. Running my own business reinforced what I already knew:
